you pay attention to sugar and see she glances at Kurt when announcing her surprise guest which means she knows what this surprise will mean. 

you pay attention to the spotlight and see it goes from sugar to Kurt which means it’s all about him. 

now if you say it’s all in my head you go watch the performance again.
