Going on and on about every little detail |
Hi! I'm Saana, a gay girl from Finland and I have 21 wonderful years behind me. Generally happy and positive and eager to hold on to the little good things instead of the big bad things... This blog includes a whole lot of: Glee Klaine Chris Colfer Starkid Game of Thrones and Harry Potter with various other things (Friends, Modern Family, Disney etc...) thrown here and there. I drool after Heather Morris, not gonna lie :) I write fanfiction, I'm known as Devil of My Family at fanfiction.net. I speed-write a lot, too, meaning my 10-minute oneshots sometimes make their way here. They are about Klaine, my sole pool of inspiration right now. I tag any spoilers and apologize to a point of being annoying if I forget. I hope to get to know youuuuu!!! |
I went a little overboard with the Playbills when I saw Darren in How To Succeed, and I want to give them to people who would love one, but don’t have the opportunity to go see the show.
So! Here are the rules for the giveaway.
- You can reblog as many times as you’d like
- Likes count
- I would appreciate if you’d follow me, but it’s not necessary
- I can ship anywhere, but not internationally unfortunately
- I will pick 20 winners on January 31, 2012
- Good luck!!

In which yes, Blaine is married
(it’s half past MIDNIGHT!!!)
Blaine barely heard the cheers. His eyes were searching the audience. He now regretted asking Kurt not to tell him where he was seated. He had been afraid he would be too nervous because Kurt was the reason he wanted his performance to be absolutely perfect.
Bow. Wave. Smile.
Where was he?
The curtain was closing and Blaine’s heart beat sped up. It was stupid, really, he’d see Kurt in a little while anyway. But he couldn’t help it, a nagging tug in his heart wanted him to find Kurt in the audience…
And then, just as the curtain was about to block his view, Blaine saw him.
He was standing, just as was everyone else, and clapping with a huge smile on his face. He had tears on his cheeks but Blaine was so happy to see the pride that radiated from him.
Before he could blow Kurt a kiss, the curtain closed and the rest of the cast, whose existence Blaine had forgotten for a while there, started to congratulate him. He was hugged by many but his mind was still somewhere else and he didn’t quite register what was happening around him.
He had just performed on a Broadway stage.
And Kurt, Kurt… Kurt was there, in the audience and he wasn’t just Blaine’s boyfriend, he was…
“Blaine!”
Wow, that hadn’t taken long…
Blaine barely had time to prepare himself before he had an armful of very pregnant Rachel hugging the breath out of him.
“You were awesome, you were amazing, oh gosh, Blaine! I can’t believe I can tell everyone I know you! That I’m your friend! I’m so proud of you!”
“Thanks, Rachel,” Blaine mumbled. Finn was there, too, standing behind his wife with a bouquet of flowers in his hands.
“Yeah, dude. That was something, really,” he said, smiling awkwardly.
“It really was, wasn’t it?”
Rachel finally let go when they heard Kurt. His eyes were red but he was absolutely beaming when he put his arms around Blaine’s neck.
“I hate you, you ruined me,” he whispered but his voice betrayed nothing but fondness. “I’m a mess. God, Blaine…”
The critiques could say whatever they pleased, Blaine didn’t need anyone else to like his performance. The way Kurt said those words was so honest that Blaine fell in love all over again.
“Broadway, Blaine.”
Yeah, like he needed to be reminded of that.
“Hold on a second, what is that?”
Kurt didn’t let go of Blaine but turned his head so he could look at Rachel. “What is what?”
“That? Finn! Look!” Finn merely blinked. “On Blaine’s finger! That’s a ring! You guys are engaged?!”
Rachel’s shriek was so loud that all the buzzing stopped for a second as everyone froze. For a few seconds there was a complete silence.
“Um, no,” Kurt said and the moment was over. “We’re not.”
Rachel sighed. “Oh, good, because let me tell you, if I’m not the first one to know when something like this happens…”
“We’re married.”
The look on Rachel’s face suggested that she was having the baby right there and then when Kurt lifted his left hand to show a ring identical to Blaine’s.
And even if she hadn’t started screaming, the world would have found out anyway. Next morning every newspaper they could buy from a news stand was not only praising Blaine Anderson’s performance but pointing out the golden band on his left ring finger.
Needless to say Burt Hummel was on the next plane to New York.
I had to… So I did.
In which Blaine made it Broadway and Kurt still loves him
He stood there, among all the near hysterical girls, photographers, all those people who wanted a piece of his ex (oh, GOD, that hurt…) boyfriend.
He didn’t expect anything to happen. He didn’t want to, it’d hurt too much if nothing happened. Because it wasn’t like he had ever stopped loving Blaine. It wasn’t as if he had forgotten their time together, from the first time they held hands to the last time they kissed.
So no, Kurt Hummel didn’t allow himself to hope that Blaine would remember all that, too.
But dear God…
The girls started screaming, the cameras were flashing and Kurt felt a bile form in his throat.
Blaine.
It really was Blaine. Still young, still gorgeous, still Blaine.
He smiled and Kurt felt his heart melt. He looked so damn happy and it looked like he really wanted to give an autograph to everyone who asked for it. Someone, his bodyguard most likely, was trying to push him forward but Blaine just smiled wider and stopped to answer questions.
Kurt’s heart stopped when he heard a reporter: “Mr. Anderson? Anyone special in the audience tonight?”
Blaine’s smile faltered for a second but Kurt didn’t think anyone but him noticed. “Nope, not this time. Hopefully soon there…”
He saw him.
For a fraction of a second Kurt thought about turning away and running as fast as his legs carried him. But he found it was physically impossible for him to do that, his body wouldn’t move.
He managed a small smile.
Blaine stared.
And then, as if no one else existed, Blaine pushed through the crowd and put his arms around Kurt. Kurt’s breath got stuck in his throat but he returned the embrace, the sense of nostalgia increasing when he smelled Marc Jacob’s Rain.
“Come on,” Blaine whispered, his voice choked. “Let’s go. Talk.”
And they left. Not hand in hand because yes, they had broke up. But they left together and it was more than Kurt had been hoping for.
because
…he said ‘bud’.”
…since there is no bridge.
