NotesKurt sighs as the train makes a turn and he finally stops waving. He’s done feeling jealous - because yes, he let himself be consumed by this emotion for a while - and is now filled with horrible uncertainty.
Blaine’s hand finds his.
“Come on. Let’s go home.”
Kurt can’t help but smile at how Blaine says home. Because he knows Blaine doesn’t mean ‘I’ll take you to your home and then go to mine’, he means home.
After making sure someone is looking after Finn, Kurt turns and the two boys start to make their way to Blaine’s car. The shorter boy is fishing for his keys when the wind suddenly makes them both shiver, ruffling the leaves and making some trash on sidewalk float in the air for a few seconds.
Kurt blinks and is hit by something yellow, something that makes him yelp and make a little jump back. The offending object falls on the ground and Kurt stares at it as if it could give him the rabies before picking it up with his middle-finger and thumb.
“What… the hell is this?”
“I think it’s a hat,” Blaine says.
“Okay… just no. No, this is a crime against fashion. I hope whoever wore this is hit by that train or something. Just… ugh.”
And he throws the hat to the nearest trashcan before climbing to the passenger seat.
